Life....

Life moves in its own rhythym with ebbs of tranquility
When with little warning a storm hits
Rearranging or shattering the pattern we've become accustomed to
The walls we've created crumble in a single stroke
Leaving us awakened to the fragility of life
Wanting to escape the pain we find no relief
Sadness overcomes at times
Beneath the sadness is a flicker of hope
Leading to a faith in God who brings all who love Him into a peace and quiet joy
Knowing he will lead us to a better place
Showing all we experince to be for our good
Casting burdens on Him, He strengthens
He gives rest and comfort
Drying our tears
He teaches us ever so kindly
Sometimes in gentleness
Other times by stark truth cutting us deep
We gain understanding, relief, knowledge, compassion, charity, experience
Pain humbles,
Pain softens, revealing our weakness
Life continues uninterrupted
The rhythym of change flowing.....
