The Magnum Opus
The sky is on fire.
Colors are ablaze with
bright shades I admire.
Burnt orange blends with red.
The horizon glows of
golden hues bold, amid.
The painter's brush chosen.
A masterpice burns forth.
The glory of sundown.
The rejoicing of day,
being consumed at last.
or sunrise, a new ray.
Celebrating the light
rekindeld after dark.
The flame of hope in sight.
The stirring wonder ends.
Each day, our new canvas.
We , the Artists, transcend.

Wow, that is a great poem Sandra. You are very talented. I didn't realize you could do that. I don't think it has a similar word in it, but as I read the poem, it reminded me of the Star Spangled Banner. Go Figure.
By the way, great blog.
