Be Still, Know God

In the enflamed sky near moning's day break
Be still, know God
In the lapping, hush of waves engulfing rocky shores
Be still, know God
In the fragile new moment of a chick so delicate
Be still, know God
In the tit, tat sound of the wet pattering rain
Be still, know God
In the whirring, purposeful buzz of honey bee jet
Be still, know God
In the anonymous portrait of a sunsets fame
Be still, know God
In all our pomp and greatness claimed
Be still, know God
Nothing one can do to stop the day from unfolding
Be still, know God

Poems from the Heart by Sandra

The Magnum Opus

The sky is on fire.

Colors are ablaze with

bright shades I admire.

Burnt orange blends with red.

The horizon glows of

golden hues bold, amid.

The painter's brush chosen.

A masterpice burns forth.

The glory of sundown.

The rejoicing of day,

being consumed at last.

or sunrise, a new ray.

Celebrating the light

rekindeld after dark.

The flame of hope in sight.

The stirring wonder ends.

Each day, our new canvas.

We , the Artists, transcend.
